Link Building Method
->
If you’re reading this then you probably know a couple of things about SEO and you’re interested in finding out more. You’ve probably read a lot of books, ebooks, tips on the internet, or any other cheap methods that tell you that submitting links to directories is the most important thing for search engine optimization.
My future method is something that a lot of people ignore and this small trick could do the difference when you’re trying to optimize yours or your client’s website. Most of know that Google indexes other type of files too, like PDF, word documents, excel worksheets and others too (there are 12 document files indexed as HTML – here’s the link to see all the files: http://www.google.com/help/features.html#pdf) but, have you ever thought of adding links in documents you create? This is not really my trick, but it’s something I’ve learned from someone and it’s been really useful.
Maybe you’ve read a lot of SEO methods that were completely hard to understand, but I think this one will be easy and straight to the subject. So… what am I saying? If all search major search engines: Google, Yahoo, MSN or AltaVista index documents same as they index HTML files, have you ever thought that you could create a lot of backlinks for your website by placing a link in this kind of documents? It’s true it will be hard to get that document on a lot of websites, but I’ll give you a great example of what you can do that will definitely help you. Let’s say you own a business that deals with car parts. If you’re just searching on google “car parts” you will see that you’ve got 38,200,000 results so it’s almost impossible to get a decent position on search engine results.
